My name is Lora Olive and I’m a visual journalist. My work focuses on editorial and nonprofit photography that effects my local community.
My career began as an advertising photographer/designer for an International Design company. My images have appeared in corporate publications, billboards and transit systems, annual reports, magazines, web sites, etc. I am a freelance photographer for Nuvo News Weekly, a photo contributor to ZUMA Press, and a member of the National Press Photographers Association.
I have a BA degree in photojournalism from Indiana University. I love the arts, music, dance and travel.

I am the creator and photographer for LivePixLive, an Indy arts and culture online publication and the publisher and photographer for the Indy Dance Project. A personal project I started to showcase my love for dance and to allow the public a view into the artistry and athleticism of local dancers. I am the recent recipient of an Indiana Artist Program Grant awarded from the Indiana Arts Commission. I’m available to share my expertise through business consulting including marketing, speaking engagements, and workshops.
